Welcome to Trinity Episcopal Church in Hannibal, Missouri. We invite you to bring your spiritual journey to Trinity; wherever you are in this quest and from whatever custom you enter, please know that we welcome all to our church. We share in God’s inclusive love.

Trinity is a small town family church where we truly know each other. We have a rich common life which includes: weekly self directed bible study, outreach projects, monthly Men’s Breakfast, and Children’s Sunday School. Over the past 10 years, we have nurtured close ties to Hannibal’s burgeoning arts community and enjoyed our special relationship and partnership with St. Paul’s church in Palmyra.

The Search Committee has held their first meeting and has begun to gather data to enable the Diocese to assist us in locating a new priest to serve Trinity and St Paul’s. At that first meeting, the committee was unanimous in their view that our current direction and trajectory are where we want to be and continue to focus. We are a strong family church, growing in numbers and financial strength.

So as we look for a new spiritual leader, we know that it is the people of the parish who must provide both energy and direction. It is we, who make our parish whole and we need a leader who supports and assists us.

The reverse is true. The people of the parish must support what our priest sees as a need. Two great examples of Trinity supporting our priest are our very successful St. Loren’s Men’s group and our outreach project to drill a well in Nigeria. Each effort was in response to a need identified by our priest and both were extremely successful. In our Nigerian “Well Wishers” project we set out to drill one well. We ended up enlisting the support of the larger Hannibal community and raised enough money to drill two!

As we move into the future we will continue to grow our membership through our welcoming nature, and a strong spirit of giving. We are seeking a priest to support us and one who will help us support them.
